Just wondering if the AA in Ireland has the same benefits as over in the UK? It doesn't say much on the website.
Just wondering would they be able to replace an injector on the side of the road and would the cost for the part be included in your membership price?
Tried ringing but they weren't able to give me an answer.
Is AA Membership worth it (Ireland) ?

You get 5 claims a year upto £535 so yes Injectors would be covered with the excess fee of £35 to be paid,I’ve just taken it out myself after losing an injector last week to the cost of £300CarlsCaddy wrote: ↑Wed Sep 09, 2020 9:32 am Just wondering if the AA in Ireland has the same benefits as over in the UK? Is that in the standard membership or an additional insurance through them?

That's for the UK alright, I'm talking about for Ireland.
There's no mention anywhere for "Garage and Parts" cover or whatever they call it, on the Irish website.

It's not much good without it tbh.
Unless your in Dublin,
They don't have the same network of vans etc, we just don't have the population density, so they have subcontractor accounts with a local garage.
Not so local in some cases.
My sister had it once, and her car wouldn't start ( in Donegal)
3 hrs later a man arrived from Sligo

AA in Ireland won't change an injector, if they cant jump start it or easily fix it it gets towed,

Was looking into this, standard price is 10euro a month. For a extra 5 euro a month it said it would bring the van home rather than the nearest garage.
I got a call from AA to try and close the sale a few days later and the guy on the phone confirmed this.
I’m still not convinced that they would do that!
