I'm lat to reply to this, but I have one of these https://www.vanstyle.co.uk/van/caddy-ma ... -4572.html by van style, easy to fit and appears to be on pretty strong, can't speak to it's longevity though, as mine only been on about a week. Hope this helps

I have a carbon effect on my caddy and silver on my Passat. Both have been on for years and still in good condition considering what they have to put up with. Would highly recommend.

It depends on if you want it for looks or practicality I’ve got the Vanstyle one on mine as I’m a landscape gardener so it gets a lot of hammer it’s been on well over a year and comes up like new with a coat of trim restorer each time I clean the van

Mine is OEM it came already on the van and so far it seems pretty sturdy.

Fitted a real carbon fibre protector to mine, a little pricey but looks the dogs on a silver bumper imo.
Now remapped to 145 BHP

Genuine on mine. I wanted to get gloss black from VW carbon but the mk4 version has a shorter lip which is bugger all use when you have a dog with paws that grip like chimp hands

Cheers mate, you’re a star
Just having a new rear Frankenbumper fitted, going to see how it comes out, and will probably go for a protector 👍

www.rgmautomotive.co.uk are a UK based manufacturer and supplier of a huge range of rear bumper protectors. They do all sorts of plastics and mouldings for a wide variety of vehicles, not only VAG group cars and vans. I’m pretty sure that you’ll find that the Vanstyle and a lot of OEM protective -mouldings come from this manufacturer. Even the photos are the same on many websites as used by RGM Automotive on their own website.

I've used them ones on other cars but the latest on my maxi life is from storm accessories on eBay! It's not smooth like them but has small ridges on top edge.
 Livin the maxi life!
