Useful Touran Parts

Post by Peng »

Hi guys, local breakers have a couple of Tourans in for breaking and I was going to go over and pick up a set of seat bases. Do you have any suggestions on what else I could pick up at the same time to put in my Caddy?

Get the bolts from the bases as you need to change 4 per seat.
Depends how far you want to go, dash, door cards, rear seats and brackets and trims, door mirrors, instrument cluster, carpets, front end including bumper, wheels, wiper motors and arms, heater/air con box and probably much more.

Centre console too if it has the armrest in it. Maybe the steering wheel and slip ring if it’s multi function, though I’m not sure what years fit what.
Cruise control stalks maybe??
I know Papa Bear mentioned mirrors, but doing the conversion is a PITA. It’s much easier to get caddy life mirrors as they’ll go right on.

Ahh, forgot the armrest
Door modules for upgrading mirrors
BCM if yours is lowline

And if you want all that, might be better buying the whole car
