Coming/leaving home: 09 Central Electrics:
-Byte 12 = 91
-Byte 17 = E9

Mirror lowering:
09 Central Electrics:
-Byte 04 - Mirror lowering with reverse gear = Active
-Byte 08 - Synchronized Mirror Adjustment = Active
42 Driver Door & 52 Passenger Door - Coding = 0132144

You have to let the car learn the position of the mirror before it'll actually work. Also make sure it's enabled on you MFA settings.
This is how I got it to work:

1. Turn on ignition, but don't start the engine.
2. Select reverse gear.
3. Select passenger side mirror on mirror control knob.
4. Adjust passenger side mirror so you can see the kerb.
5. Take car out of reverse gear and return to neutral, or Park in automatic gearbox.
6. Turn off the ignition and the passenger side mirror will (hopefully) return to the normal 'O' position.

To use the dip function, the mirror control knob must be kept to the passenger side position.
Maybe I am not doing it right, I can't make any of the above changes! My BCM is as follows:

Do you have the right door modules? The various mirror threads will help you on numbers.

Proempie wrote: Mon Oct 05, 2020 10:32 pm So far I've got:

- Coming/Leaving home set to 60 seconds
- Needle sweep
- Lock/Unlock confirmation via horn (just a small beep)
- Rain Closing
- Navigation in MFD
- Seatbelt warning OFF
- Auto-lock turned on
- Comfort opening
- Mirror lowering in reverse gear
- probably a lot more.

I just can't find the Ad-Blue screen. Mate of mine has it but don't know where the option is
I'm looking to have these mods (and others) implemented. Does anyone know a ball park cost of coding something like this list - I'm toying with purchasing VCDS from Gendan, but I'm currently broke so if it's nowhere near the price of a unit (£225) then I'll just pay someone...
Cheers,
Liam

If you were to find someone who has VCDS and uses it for a hobby rather than business, you'd be looking at around 10-15 minutes to code in those things mentioned. If a hobbiest were to ask more than £30 for this I'd just go find another.

Interesting, I’d like to know how to do auto lock on, seatbelt warning off and turn my fog lights to corner…

If in fact it can be done on a mk4 as VW are getting stricter with what you can adjust.

I can’t seem to turn start/stop off using the voltage method…
