Bad day!!

Post by Exodus »

Found today that someone had drilled 2 nice big holes through my number plate into my rear door of my beloved black edition to try to get access. I'm so so angry and upset they've damaged my pride and joy. [url]https://ibb.co/Yp0mgJQ/url]

I'm so so angry.

There are some scrots about,

Does that work,,do they pull a locking bar..
Did they get in.. :?:

I suppose it's easier to repair than some of the peeled door attacks.. ;)
You could fit some stainless steel to prevent it in future

There is some right c*nts about. I think I would get another door on it mate, second hand and maybe incorporate some type of reinforcement behind it.

Why would they chose that method of entry, are the barn doors easy to get in to?

Mine has a deadlock but there are still 2 sliding side and 2 front doors.

I have no idea. Looking through the holes there is just the cable to my reverse camera which they narrowly missed which would have cost even more to repair! They didn't get in and wouldn't have found anything anyway. It's a lovely van in perfect nick and hardly any miles on it so I'd like to get a proper repair done on it, need to get in touch with local body shops to get quotes.

Gutted for you mate, YouTube had a video of this a few months ago he even gave the exact measurements to drill. I don’t understand how we can put a man on the moon but can’t stop some f**kers breaking into vans/stealing cars etc.
