Caliper clearance [emoji848]

Post by sheepy92 » Wed Nov 18, 2020 9:35 pm

Evening my fellow caddy owners changed to some winter alloys 18" pretorias with a offset of ET51 my only concern is i have r32 calipers and they seem very snugg on the spokes to the point were if a brick was to get between it would jam my question is am i right in saying as it is a floating caliper the caliper can only travel backwards and not any further into the actual spokes

If they clear, they clear mate. You’ve scope to put spacers on with et51 depending on your tyre and wheel width.

Those Welah R32 callipers are dodgy as hell! They swell over 60mph and ruin your wheels!!! If course I only found this out AFTER i sold em to you

As Stu says if they pass they pass! I can barely get a feeler gauge between my 4 pots and wheel so get em on buddy you’ll be fine
