Am I missing something? Had a quick scan online and cant find much on the motor removal itself? Got It all uncovered and undone the muts so the motors loose I just cant actually get it out?? What am i doing wrong?

Might have answered my own question here but didnt think it would cause that much problem but the nut that holds the wiper on is corroded on.is that the crucial bit of play?

You need to take the wiper motor and mechanism out complete as one piece, is this what you are doing?
Should just be a case of removing the wiper arms, take out the fixings under the scuttle panel cover and then the assembly pulls towards the front of the van. There is a pin to locate at the back but that's only a problem when going back in.

Hi Doc, is that for the front wipers? If so then my bad for not starting but I'm talking about the rear wiper, everything is unscrewed barring the small nut that hold the wiper onto the nozzle on the outside but that is small enough to go through the hole?

Is yours a tailgate or barn doors?

On barn doors I've never had a problem. The nut should be off to take the wiper arm off.
If the motor is undone it should be loose.

It is very very difficult to get it out completely without undoing the door handle. It can be done but rather than damage parts I've always undone the handle and got that out of the way.

Barn doors buddy, ahhh so you cant get the motor out without undoing the handle is it the 2 bolt headed fixings(same as wiper motor) holding the mechanism in place on the inside I need to undo?

Handle is on the curved cast aluminium piece with (I think it's two) bolts going to the outside.
Once you remove the bolts the handle and lock come away and can be detached from the lever that goes down to the lock.
That needs to be set up again once you put everything back together or you'll have problems locking/unlocking the door.

I was thinking about removing my rear wiper and motor this weekend but was wondering... Do you need to disconnect the hose from the actual wash bottle at the front.. or does removing the motor prevent the water from being pumped to the rear.
