I’m just curious what coding is possible to be unlocked by ECU? Are there different versions etc? Reason asked is recently purchased a Carly dongle & the yearly subscription but when came to coding was pretty much sweet f.a that I was able to do :/
I was considering getting VagCAN but what’s the usual price as from what saw on eBay they vary from stupidly cheap to extortionate

Engine ecu unlock just allows for tuning. Cannot write to tprot locked ecus eprom requires unlocking first.
Ref the vagcan. Price variation is either low priced Chinese rip-off tools or proper genuine licensed tool.
