Wiper motors

Post by Geoffwade65 »

Whats involved in the single to double wiper swap? Is it a simple swap over and plug and play with the loom?
I had to replace a front coil spring and when I removed the scuttle it all broke up so am thinking of the swap over at this point.

Quite simple if you've got the parts and the additional bracket on the passenger side.
You just need to adapt the wiring harness to link both motors.

Hi Doc, will it not be easier to take the twin motor loom and plug that in?

Nah, I wouldn't go replacing the entire loom from head to tail lights, it's not a bit task to splice in the link across from one motor to the other.
