Well the Aerial I got has fitting for both.
And it works really well for both.

A Dab Ariel is the way to go. Just have to drill a hole in the roof and put some grease around the bit that screws in to make it water sealed. then run cable from back to front. It is a bit fiddly but not too bad. And Dab is great to have.

Shark fin fitted, just need to wire in the power.
Heat controls seems to have an ignition live, tempted to tap into that.

Better to run a clean feed from the fuse panel for the sake of a extra couple of feel of wire.

The cable isn’t long enough but you are right.
Just need some cable and some connectors. More money and another job I can’t do till they arrive.
