Banded steels

Hi sorry if I’m sounding like a broken record but I’m new to the bag scene

I’ve got a 2018 swb caddy and im looking to go down the banded steels route. The van isn’t lowered atm

I’d like to know what spec I can go for without limiting using the van including using the side door etc

What widths? Tyres sizes etc. I’m looking at going 16 or 17inch. I know 8 inch is safe but can you get an 8.5 or 9 Inch to fit? Also what et?
