Obscure part, and a "too new" part number.

Post by petrev »

Hi,

1.
Can't find the part number for the rear Lock/Unlock switch in a Caddy Beach.
It is in the LHS rear quarter panel along with a funky rechargeable torch !!
Also anyone know what the wiring might be for this switch ?

2.
Too new for any search I can do - The New Mk5 Caddy California front window air ventilation inserts.

I am not sure about the part number for the caddy california window inserts for the mk5 but I have a set of Reimo window vents that are for the mk3 and 4 that i use and they look very similar to the ones in the picture, may be worth contacting them.

I have only reciently got mine so have not had much chance to use them properly yet, once fitted they are very secure in place and give lots of fresh air through the van, there is a bug screen built into them to stop anything small getting in while they are in use.

The window goes up to them, they provide ventilation whilst keeping the van secured, they are removed when driving.
