Stan Really is THE Man
Big thanks to Stan for helping me out when my ignorance got the better of me
I was fitting his two colour footwell lights. When It came to connecting the Ignition bezel I blow the LEDs testing to see which was which
Stan didn’t hesitate to offer the replace them and it came back better than it went
I now have white lights on entry and red while running
Cheers Stan you went above and beyond and it is appreciated

Re: Stan Really is THE Man
Yep, I have to agree. Stan has helped me out a few times now, making little bits so as I don’t have to start soldering near the BCM (and probably setting my van on fire )
Once again. Thanks mate

Stan Really is THE Man
Ste. I think I now realise why you sold your lights to me. Stans colour change ones look so much better! I may have to upgrade
I’ve wired mine up as per the instructions......they go off when you turn the key. I’m going to look into re wiring them so as they come on with the headlights.
Would I be correct in thinking that to have the lights come on with the headlights, I’d need to move my +ve from terminal 43 on the white plug to terminal 22 on the black plug?
Next question....would my current loom be ok as I’m aware there’s 2 sizes of pin on the plugs.

Pete they will go off with the interior light, they are meant to. Terminal 22 (Black) is the dipped beam output but If you want them on with the side/head lights I’d connect to the blue/grey wire at the light switch, this is controlled by the dash lights dimmer switch, the same as the W8 interior light mod. If you move the BCM connection the pin will be the same but I think it would be a different pin for the light switch but I’m not 100% sure. If you’re not confident soldering a Scotchloc would be fine

Re: Stan Really is THE Man
Hi Stan , contacting you from Ireland , I have a set of 2018 Cupra seats that I would love to fit to my 2019 caddy highline. Both van and seats are Airbag and heated. Is this something you would be able to help me with .
Thanks in advanced Ross

I stole the idea straight from stan-the-man

They were special order from Japan. I got mine from
http://vwmaniacs.com/fs/maniacs/5143413
Not a cheap option @11340 Yen = £79 So about £80 + postage & import duty
It’s all in Japanese so Google translate is your friend
Basically you need a ZenMarket account with enough money in it to complete the sale
You’ll figure it out
