LHD mirror on RHD?

Will a LHD drivers side mirror body be plug and play with the passenger side on my RHD. The aim is for two matching dumbo ears, not one square dumbo and one rectangle dumbo. Originally it was life mirrors but I've gone off them

I have read on this forum that the issue is likely to be that the mirror cannot be angled correctly for a RHD vehicle. So it will not be plug and play in that respect. However it may be possible to modify the mirror so that it can be positioned correctly. I am sure that there are some threads on here that provide a bit of detail. It is something that I considered, but I decided against it because of the potential problem.

So is it that theres a blind spot because you cant get the angle on lhd driver mirror?And 2 larger mirrors, proper dumbo job

RY_VW you won’t be able to angle the mirror inwards far enough, so there will be a gap in your vision between the side of the van and what the mirror can see.

I tried to buy a larger mirror off a left hooker from Germany but they wouldn't ship to the UK for some reason.
