Golf seats

Got the chance of a two mk 7 seats do you have to have Turan bases as I am 6 ft and the golf seats would have height adjustment .cheers

I’m just in the process of putting MK5 GT seats in mine .
Not fully fitted yet , so this is just a rough feeling .

I’d say the GT seats at half height adjustment sit about the same as the original Caddy seats at the lowest setting if using the original Caddy base’s .

I’m 6’4 & at half height they seem ok , but i do like to sit low in a vehicle .

I used Mk6 gols seats in my caddy on original base. Just 2 holes i needed to drill. Goes up and down, foward and back with no i problem.

I have MK7 seat in mine. You can fit them on Caddy bases if you drill them to suit the new seats.
You will be better off using Touran bases though as they are higher and make it more comfortable for taller drivers

What seats are best & easy to fit ideally would like heated seats whats required please new to this caddy mod world so all help is greatly appreciated

2011 Caddy here, i have installed the MK5 Golf GTI leather seats, look and feel great. I just need to get the electronic lumber support wired in and the seat heating. Anyone got any good advice on where best to take the live feed, how to wire upto a set of oem style switches?
