(attempting) reverse camera install
Is this easy to get off, just needs prising?
and do wires pass through this bit or is it there just to grip to the body?
Just trying to work out how to pass a cable through from the barn doors.

Can you not push a bit of wire through and pull your camera wires through with it?

@irvind
Yeah it will just pull off carefully.
When I pushed my cables through I wrapped them tight in electricians tape to make them a bit more rigid and put a bit of fairy liquid on them.
It’s tight to get them through but they will go with a bit of patience.

Brilliant thanks.
Attempting to push this through from the back of the van to the door so guessing an old wire hanger or something will help meet the rubber grommet?
Sorry, really useless at this stuff!

So I got the cable through to the rubber grommet, but this is all leccy-taped up and I don’t know how to get it through without compromising waterproofness.
Will leave for now and maybe get a spark involved for this bit!

Re: (attempting) reverse camera install
The tube with tape that goes through the green cable tie with mounting spigot looks like a split case conduit tube. There may or may not be enough extra space for your extra wire.
You may need a larger bore piece of split conduit.
The tube is then sealed with vinyl tape after you have run your extra wire.
You will probably also need a new green mounting cable tie thingy.
