Engine covers

Hi All, I am looking for some information you might be able to help me with.
I have a 1.6 tdi caddy 14 plate and am looking to buy the plastic engine cover for the top of the engine I have called multiple scrap yards that have them but before I buy I would like to know which covers fit and off what year VW make and models?
I got one free off a Passat 1.9 and didn't fit.
Any help would be appreciated.

Idk what years of models but the 2.0 is the same as the 1.6 cover. E.g mines off a 2.0tdi Passat.

Cheers for the replies lads.
The passat one I got the little ball fittings I have on my engine to hold it on doesn't match up with it.
I have found a few in a couple of scrap yards off of 2.0 tdi Golfs 12 plates the lads selling said it would fit but I just wanted to be sure before I bought one .

I didn't realise yours was a passat one too
it's the older engine though isn't it, do they still do a 1.9tdi?? I've just checked my Ebay purchases and mine was listed as a mk6 2.0 Passat 2008-2014 cover, I think your safe along as it's that design I linked above.theres an almost identical cover that doesn't have the little vents in it which I think fits as well.

Ye, it's the older Passat engine it's off.
I will order the one off the Golf and try it

So I bought an engine cover one off a
15 plate Golf 1 6tdi got it cheap and the thing didn't fit should have stuck with the original one.
I taught they would be the same

Hi,
I have a M44 Caddy (registered Sept 2015), facelift. I think there are a few changes to this relative to the earlier vehicle which are mainly cosmetic. Will the part number listed earlier in this thread fir mine ?
