Cross / Alltrack Maxi

Post by Cuddlycaddy »

Hi
Does anyone know if the crops or all track came in maxi?

Fancy the arches but not able to find them in maxi, am I looking for unicorn poop or do I have to get creative?

You have to get creative and plastic weld them. If you get RGM (a.k.a. Vanstyle) ones, you'll only need to weld one side.

No Maxi versions of Cross or Alltrack. There are a few body parts that won't fit:

- Rear wheel arch covers - maybe you can find a LHD version of the RGM ones mentioned previously to get a full arch for both sides
- Black door trim - too short for Maxi
- Silver side trim - too short for Maxi
- Black side trim - too short for Maxi

It’s mainly the arches to achieve the look I’m after so I’ll check if there’s a left hooker version

There isn't a LHD difference, all Cross or Alltracks were double sliders so you have to plastic weld the arches if using the genuine VW parts or as anoneamus says, try and find the LHD aftermarket versions.

I haven’t but then they wouldn’t just fit on the Caddy for the rear as the cut line to the bumper is in a different place so will still need modifying. It might be that’s a simpler way to go but as far as I know, no one has done it that way before. Its possible the shape of the rear arches is different between the models as well so again, it might work with a little tweak or it could mean a lot of work.
