Has anyone fittted one of these ebay insulation mats? Any good as far as fitment and not catching fire

And secondly, do these actually make much difference to the diesel rattle?

Got one in mine from the same place too, good fit also. Engine cover is your first line of defence for quietening the rattle, and every little helps.

Does the engine cover have sound proofing in it or is it just plastic? I didnt imagine it making much difference

It’s foam lined and reduces noise considerably
