Touran seat height adjustment not working. Any ideas?

Just fitted Touran seats and bases but the driver seat height adjustment doesn’t work.
Anything obvious I can check? Handle does nothing.

Has the adjustment ever worked or are these new (to you) seats?
Is there any resistance on the lever or is it loose?

I can only think to remove the seat and trace the cable from the lever, it’s probably come loose?

You compare the other side to see how it should look.

Yeah, will do. Handle does move but tight and only pumps the once before going hard.
