Cluster fault?

Post by Duncan1112 »

Only posting this as I can’t find a definitive answer anywhere on the forum.
2009 Caddy. When indicating left EML flashes in sync but dim. When indicating right PAS warning flashes but dim.
Managed to get some pretty shit wiring diagrams from autodata at work. But just wondering if anyone’s had this fault and managed to resolve it? Otherwise I’m in for a fun day of diagnostics tomorrow 😂
Thanks in advance guys

That'll be an internal fault in the instrument cluster. 99% of signs, messages etc. you see on the instrument cluster are communicated via CANbus so wiring elsewhere in the vehicle won't cause what you are experiencing.

Yeah I had a feeling it was a CAN fault, going to take the cluster apart and check for water ingress. But oh no a reason for a new cluster - what a shame
