Washer fluid level sensor

Post by makzimum »

Does anyone know if the washer fluid level sensor is an option? Ran out of fluid for the first time the other day and was surprised it didn't tell me I was low. I would have expected it to be standard on a 2020 Maxi Life so wondering if mine isn't working correctly.

Not sure if it's ever been specced from factory, but you can retrofit it. "How to" guide is in the technical section of the forum

I saw the retrofit guide, looks like the parts are fairly cheap too. I can't quite work out from the pics in the guide if it's easy to check whether the sensor is there or not without taking things apart. I guess I'll go poking about :)

Parts are dirt cheap from AliX.
Haven't fitted yet though ...

Mine doesn’t have the sensor fitted in the washer bottle, but when you look on the cluster closely in the sunlight you can see the symbol is there.
It’s something I keep meaning to do as well
