VCDS
I decided to invest in Ross tech VCDS and now with a bit of playing I have installed a reversing camera to my RNS315 enabled the built in Bluetooth in it as well enabled my rear speakers and set my daytime driving lights so I can turn them off through the mfd on the dash (this save battery power whilst the ignition is on)

Re: VCDS
If you go into central electrics. Long coding, long coding helper, byte15 bit 7, Daytime running lights (DRL) adaption active (MFA+). Tick this one then exit don’t forget to click on “do it” Then when you go into setup on your dashboard lights / vision you can enable or disable Dayt.r.light

Re: VCDS
There is also a VCDS option to turn off the DRL while the handbrake is active. I used to turn the DRL on/off via the MFD setting (and still do on occasion), but the handbrake option covers most of the times I want them off (ie. when the car is stationary).

Re: VCDS
I got it from http://www.cars-equipment.com/ but it ended up expensive as I got stung for import tax by DHL before they would deliver it , once received I found it easy to install
