I use Omtec Roof Cross Bars and Thule Canyon basket. There's no way the basket can fit under my garage door. So I leave the basket attached to the cross bars and remove the whole thing when I'm not using it. Takes about 10-15 minutes to fit/remove. I only use it for road-trips, so it's not a problem.

I know in Germany there's a company who build them. On Instagram: tts_company (travel_roofrack). And they have a version for caddy, short version about 1000€. I don't know much more but you can DM them!
