Touran bases
If I fit touran bases to the standard seats, I will obviously gain some storage correct? But how much higher does it make the seat?

Re: Touran bases
About 4cm higher. Also standard seats will not bolt straight on them, so you'll need to drill a new holes or find other solution.

Re: Touran bases
Thanks Giddy,
I have no issues drilling them.
I just wondered how much higher they are and does it make them feel to high?
To me the front of the seats feel quite high anyway. Not sure about adding touran bases now

Re: Touran bases
Thanks @Giddy
There’s not loads of difference really. Looks like the caddy ones go lower at the back.
I’ll just get them and give it a go, if I don’t like them will just put the std ones back in.

Re: Touran bases
Why do you want to keep the standard seats? Get them swapped out

Re: Touran bases
I will be swapping them when I can find something nice to put in. I was just looking at bases because I’d seen a lot of people saying they had done it lol

Re: Touran bases
Each to their own of course but you'll be doing a lot of removing and putting back, get some seats as an early christmas present and get it all done at once mate
