Helicoil

Hi Guys.

My Cylinder head bolt hole threads that holds the plate for injectors are damaged. Can helicoil threads repair works.

Your advice will be appreciated.

long story short, yes.

Used them several times for a large number of problems and they work well, but it must be drilled as straight as possible.

100% you can coil that, I would have it done by a machine shop if possible to get that spot on straight, i did one myself on a Side stand bolt on my bike and the side load from it not being perfect pulled it out over time.

I'd only use a timesert, as you have a second chance if it ever pulls out (and I've never had one pull out).

If you get the right set, it comes with a guide etc.
