Airflow meter error- need help

Post by greg1990caddy »

Hi guys
Im struggling to get to the bottom of my isse with airflow meter error. The code that I get is p0101 00 (039) implausible signal.

What I have done so far is:
- tried 2 different airflow meters from working cars
- each time I changed the part I did reset it in the vcds
- everytime I do the test of air flow meter plausibility I get the message Routine NOT OK- on all 3 air flow meters- and I get the error code right away- engine light will come after few km of driving
- checked the vacum pump ( its not stuck) and all the lines
- checked all the intercooler pipes and hoses and everything seems okey

Just wondering if anyone had any similar issues or do you have any ideas of what I could do next.
Any help will be much appreciated.

Its 2017 caddy 2.0tdi 102bhp

Thanks
Greg

Have you got VCDS or anything that will show live measurements?
Be worthwhile checking the measured value from the MAF when the engine is off Vs when running.

Hi Doc
I have 21.9 vcds but for some reason I cant access measurements blocks to log the date while driving.
When I do test on air flow meter I can see numbers going up and down but no real data to back it up.
