Re: A great start to today
That’s a shame mate, but not unexpected given the damage.
I’d have the same fears as you about it being in the salvage yard, until you get paid out it’s still your van. I hope you get a solution sorted quickly mate.

I hope it gets sorted soon too but I am hoping I can get it fixed by getting most of the dents pushed out but it's a big ask I will probably never get it to look like it was before

Re: A great start to today
Might be an idea to get it as good as you can, put it back to standard and sell it. Someone like a builder who isn’t too fussy would probably have it. Maybe you could start again with another one?

Re: A great start to today
Just had a call of nationwide vehicle recovery and I should get my van back today then all I need is for the insurance company to give me an offer for the pay out as it is financially a write off I also need to find out what category they have placed it in

Re: A great start to today
Just had the van back from the salvage yard it was taken too not happy about all the oil stains on the seat though but at least its back just got to find out of the insurance about what there offering
The white van next to it is a hire van that has more dents in it than my van had with the tree on top there's not a straight panel on it
Also need to ask you guys if you know anyone in the North Wales or Chester area who does dents removal hopefully once I'm paid out from insurance that will be my next job as well as the windscreen

Took a bit of time, but glad you've got it sorted. Hopefully no more nasty surprises like this.

Cheers I'm glad the van looks as good as it did before and now the ride is much better after changing the coilovers for the eibach lowering springs
