I just watched a YouTube video of one very happy person who had his engine conversion done by hef.

Cool video.

One thing that stood out is how this guy has said the DVLA registration is a "long winded process" something must have changed since I last did a conversation as back then it was just a one page letter and a few days later a ammended V5 was returned.
I had a guy email me about it over the weekend too, saying he was "battling with them" over the change.
@Sean1066 you had similar struggles with registering your conversion?

2014 Toffee Brown with EA888 Gen 3 2.0 TSi (CJX) engine (417.5 BHP 545 Nm), Grinds/ABP air suspension and a few other mods :D

Did you have any back and forth with the DVLA @Sean1066 or was it just a single letter and old V5 to them and you're just waiting for the new V5 to come back?

I have just sent them the details in a single letter and the V5 I’m just waiting for the V5 to come back.
I haven’t contacted them.
It registered on the MOT as a 3.2 VR6 and petrol.
I’m sure if there was anything wrong they would’ve contacted me.
