Hi All,
Me again....
So this weekend i am looking to insulate the rear of the van including the load space floor.
I was going to then carpet it but seeing as the van will have a bike in the bike regularly which will probably be muddy, so i was thinking some kind of rubber mat?
Anyone have similar or any recommendations?
Thanks
Load liner

Re: Load liner
VW do them and they look bang on and fit as they should.
There on the expensive side though. I think the one for a maxi is around £200. Not sure on the swb though?

Re: Load liner
Believe the rubber flooring is same price for both SWB and Maxi and is about £240. You could fit any kind of rubber flooring but would need to put down a sheet of ply first as it won't conform to the ridges in the floor.

Re: Load liner
I’ve glued 5mm rubber sheeting over the top of the plywood in the back of my van. Sealed the edges to prevent water getting underneath, works really well, easy to clean too.

Re: Load liner
I too use my Caddy for transporting my MTB to & from the trails.
I decided to put carpet down rather than a rubber floor and I then put a sheet down when I carry the bikes. This protects the carpet floor and they are easy to take out & wash. Im also now looking to make a complete rear floor liner from waterproof material (cost £30 for 1.5m x 2m) which will again be removable & washable.
Its a bit more of a faff putting the liner/ sheet in & out but the rear of the van looks so much better when its carpeted & clean ( in my opinion).
