What's the best way to take out the valve , blanking plate and what do u do wit the valve? Or buy the pipe kit , but I tried Egrvalve.co.uk but no answer emailed them also no joy any 1 have any ideas :roll:

there is one on ebay but its £53, seems a bit much to me. i would say take it right out for smooth air flow and i think i am right in thinking you have to have an egr delete on the ecu too

So it's best to get the pipe kit , also which kit do I need I got a c20 104 1.9 tdi on a 08 if that helps thx,yes and also when u put a decat pipe on any ecu reprogramming as PPTuning doing it for 120 for the decatpipe for caddy2k .thx

I'll be keeping an eye on this as its something I want to do too. Along with a decat and remap.

Can't remember if the newer caddies are harder to remove the egr on or not thought I read something on here about it maybe someone else can confirm

Lovelydubbly did it on his 58 plate so must be possible.

newer ones will have a light on the dash if you take it off. cant see the gain in spending all that money on the delete pipe and then still needing it maped out because you have a light on the dash

Mine was mapped out by Mike @ Motech while he done my remap.
