Hi all,
Ok so I was really low on diesel and nearly ran out...whether that has anything to do with it I don't know....However after I filled it up and got on my way I noticed an engine management light on the left-hand clock had come on...looks like a little engine...say something in handbook about lamda sensor/exhaust.
Firstly is it anything major to worry about???
What could it be???
It there a filter that needs changing...or the CAT?
should I continue to drive it???
I drove it 10 miles home with the light on...hopefully I have not done any damage...everthing feels the same - no lack of power or smoke
If it is not anything major is there a way to deactivate the light without having to take it to my local VW dealership and get charged a small fortune!
Any info greatly received.
Geof

Hi,
Really hard to tell without a vagcom scan, if you are near me (gloucester) I can scan it for you.
but got to any vw (VAG) specialist (not vw) and they can scan it for you too see the error.
tbh doubt it's anything big more just a warning.
