I used red window tint film, I only covered the parts off the lights I wanted red, so just the indicator/ reverse light etc.. cut small rectangles. So still mostly the original tail lights showing. Orange shines thru ok on mine still

So, I tried this red tint film on my reverse light today (no pics I'm afraid). I found that the light shone through as a pinky red colour, which just looked rubbish!! Do you have a pic of yours with the reverse light on so I can see if yours is the same or whether it was just the particular tint I was using??

Should have mine fully painted and fitted this week with cushions which seem decent. I'll post some pics when done.

Had my van in to a mates garage today to try and fix my AC which has slowly leaked since I’ve owned the van. Replaced the pump and gassed it up but it looks like we may now need to change the condenser too Image

Sanded and polished my headlights while I was waiting

Also fitted my metal sump guard which I’ve had for years and never got round to fitting.

Stu, cant you ever just sort of mooch about a bit and not do anything?

Did you notice if your undertray reduces the ground clearance on uours? I know you're on air, but is there any difference do you think? I'm sure mine has reduced the clearance...

I like to keep busy Pat

Yes I think it’s reduced ground clearance by a fair bit unfortunately. I’ll only know for sure when I go over my usual local speed bumps and see if I come out the other side without a huge clanging noise and a load of sparks :D It’s them stupid square speed humps that get you

As Guy Martin says...'You gotta have a passion!'

I fitted mine when I ripped the lump of felt/soundproofing off the gearbox going into a car park in epping forest, for dog walking, not dogging duties!
Its taken some hits since, that im sure it would have cleared before. But would it have hit the gearbox? Who knows, but I might have to raise the van a bit....or put 19's back on!

Made a good start on fitting my ptc heater, thanks to @C Chis for his great help.
Heater is in with positive and negative wires secure, negative run to earth point and tight. Positive not yet run through to engine bay, control wires not yet connected.
After having to recover for a week from removing it all at the scrap yard I’m installing in sections. If ok tomorrow I’ll run the positive cable and attach to the fuse box.
