Removed the front splitter this morning to do some repairs to it. It's got a nasty split across the corner
Dan's@biali has give me some good tips on what glue to use so will get it cleaned up ready for repair this weekend and see if i can pick up some glue

Finally lowered and it looks like a different van
Eibach front springs bilstein shocks & darkside flip kit & darkside shortened bump stops
Drives so much better now and also reduced noise in the cabin?
Next on the to-do list is white line anti roll bars and add another set of wobble blocks to the rear flip kit to make it a bit more stable

Re: What did you do to your van today?
Fitted my MGSW & all buttons working perfectly however it has now left me 2 faults that won’t clear & no front washer jets.
Assume the stalks I bought are faulty? Oddly no faults shown for the washer jets!!
Is this a coding issue?
Anyone able to shed any light on this matter?

Re: What did you do to your van today?
Check the measuring blocks in the steering wheel control module, it's possible the stalks have come from a crash damaged vehicle and have been over extended or got wet causing some components not to work.

Cheers Doc, Once I’ve calmed down a bit I’ll go out & plug in VCDS, as a newbie to VCDS is that relatively easy to work out?

Yea, you just connect to the steering wheel control module, click measuring blocks, find the signals you want to monitor and watch them change/move as you push buttons or move stalks.

Re: What did you do to your van today?
Just been out, checked measuring blocks & can't get anything from pulling washer stalk or cruise control switch/buttons, however wipers themselves work & all lighting functions work from the other stalk. Does that point to a duff stalk set?? if it was the control module surely I would have no functions on anything???

Re: What did you do to your van today?
Yep, it does look as though your right hand stalk is faulty.
You might be able to open it up and fix it as the circuitry is very simple. Just a bit delicate to put back together.
The cruise stalk might be coding or maybe a wiring problem, is it plugged in correctly onto the SWCM?

Doc I’m done for today, hopefully will get some time to pull it apart after work & double check it’s plugged in correctly. Thanks for the advice

Trip to Prestatyn today and more rubbing. Wondering if its a better bet to change all the tyres? Currently on 235 35 R19 and looking for any advice on if 225's would solve the problem. Failing that it's either a wheel change (rather avoid) or axle swap.
