Clean the injector seat. There are cheap seat cleaning tools on eBay.

Julien of Facebook, just down to personal opinion and a few others noticed the colour so I’ve sent it back, I know greens a hard colour to match think I’ll get it live colour matched rather then buy it already painted!

Quarters limo tinted and rear reflectors and 3rd brake light in dark tint
Hey Ste,

Did you tint the quarters yourself or have someone do this for you?

I’m planning on doing mine and doing it myself as it’s a small enough area to hopefully not mess up!

Did the a piller trims come off to tint the quarters?

Thanks Simon.

@SIMONSNOT no mate. Had them done and glad I did because the guy said they are a nightmare to do with the pillars in place

If doing yourself then probably best to make a template first

Only cost £20 to have done though

Must’nt grumble at £20!

I was planning on taking the trims off but sounds like there a bit of a mission to get back on though. At £20 it’s probably worth the time it would take me to do it and give someone else the trouble of it!

The fun bus is also at the body shop this week getting a couple of bits done. It’s an approved VW body shop so there is a premium for this!

Went old skool this evening...

Three sheets of ladder diagrams from ElsaWin, one cutter then cut and paste* to make one sheet ahead of removing the now redundant trailer hitch (towbar to you and me) wiring on Sunday.

Much easier to mark up the drawing as you remove the wires when you’re outside.

* this is how we used to cut and paste back in the day of black and white TV’s, Tilly lamps and manual pull out chokes!

Image

And so glad it was only three sheets not thirty!

Today was peanut butter and bumper gel

Had some white staining to remove from polish on the grill and side trims
Peanut butter worked a treat and the dog was very interested when we walked past later on
