Completed a few things lately, deleted the front fog lights and coded them out with obdeleven, much prefer the cleaner front end look now.

Fitted a shark fin aerial and got rid of the the awful cb type one.ImageImage

Also got someone yesterday to do the coding on my mk4 tailight conversion and code out the error bulb warning I was getting after fitting these Phillip led p521w bulbs.Image

What did I do to my van today well Monday actually and wasn't me a work colleague. Parked the van up not in my usual place and hoped into the works jeep and headed off and half hour later get a call to come back as a work buddy reversed into my van with a trailer. He got away lightly with only a bumper and no scratch anywhere else. So 840 euro the repair bill for work will be. ImageImageImage

Have a 2013 1.6 140 van with mk7golf hybrid front bumper and mk4 caddy rear bumper and lights, passat heated seats upgraded rns510 radio touran armrest, golf gti brakes side rail cover. Also have caddy life wing mirrors with puddle lights to put on the van soon :D

Finally got the genuine vw rear ops system talking with the rns315 headunit.
The install was not the easiest but the coding side wasn't exactly a walk in the park either, oh well not done anything electrical like this on a car. I think I'll stick to the industrial electrical systems I normally do Image

Well done 👍

Worth all the effort though as a very nice feature to have.

60mm lowering springs buddy. Had a chat with my mate who I'm helping and he recommended to replace all the shocks. Said it was pointless putting new springs and hardware on old 9 year old shocks so spent a bit more money than I anticipated, haho.

Ah, OK.
The Bilstein fronts are just shocks, no springs.
Makes sense now you tell me
🙂

Carpeted the rear plastic sections.

Wasn't overly hard, just the other side to do too.
