Successfully fitted heko wind deflectors, mostly so I can give the dog some fresh air, now to work out how to set the alarm with him in the passenger seat . . .

@_Tim_ there should be a button on the drivers B pillar lower section, to turn some sensors off specifically for that reason.

Can't you just press the lock button twice on the fob?

@Giddy - I have hunted a few times for this - pretty sure it doesn't exist in mine, I wonder if the ex BG spec vans somehow didn't have it?

@Vanlife - Yes - Good call, re-reading the owners manual, double pressing lock does NOT activate the deadlocks and "the interior monitoring system is deactivated" I missed this on the first read through.

Thank you

@_Tim_ I think the vans that don't have the button also don't have the interior sensor that the button disables. Mine doesn't have either of them.

Thanks @totty79 - I thought there would be a logical answer. I'm pleased to find it without scaring the wits out of my old dog by just testing with him in the passenger seat!

Enough was enough today and I've caved in and raised the front end 10mm. Crawling over every speed bump in town was getting tiresome. 😤
