Re: I like this!!!!
The exhaust looks cool - anyone know what she's putting out - Did the Caddy racing silver van put out about 260 horses and a million lb/ft torque?

Looks good, made me seriously consider lowering, but then I remembered the state of the lanes around here! Shame.

Re: I like this!!!!
Do any colour Caddys actually come with black plastic bumpers, instead of grey like I have on my white one? Look way better IMO.

Re: I like this!!!!
I took a photo of the spec list cos it was at the Autosport International. 270ps, it's the 140bhp-spec 2.0L TDi out of the Caddy / Sportline / Mk5 Golf GT with standard internals, a remap and the turbo off a 3 litre Audi diesel engine. Apparently it's a blast todrive on the road
I spoke to the bloke in charge of the technical side of the Caddy race programme at the show because i wanted to know about the rear suspension. Apparently its a custom beam axle with coilover struts and a panard rod. He was nice enough to open the tailgate up so i could see inside:
As for the exhaust, sorry to spoil the illusion but they're a dummy the actual exhaust is a race milltek system that has a downward end pipe like the standard Caddy, behind the bumper. Those twin pipes chucked out too much soot when they rigged them up properly, not handy for visibility for other racers so they left them on for effect
I also sat in it made my day that, sad as it is. I'm 5'9 on a good day and couldn't see out, the seat was mounted so low. Standard Caddy dash, flocked like race cars, with standard later model dials too complete with the normal warning lights etc, metal GTI pedals.
