I take it you mean the interior light? If you push it to one side, its possible to lever it out. The clips are just spring loaded.

Interior light? Just push it with your fingers as far to the one side of the van as you can (either side) and pull it down. two spring clips hold it on.
The roof skin, just unscrew all the clips. (allen key bit)

Yes. If you use a flat bladed small screwdriver, you can lever out the middle section of the plastic clips and once they are slightly proud you can pull the whole clip out.

They do have a little Allen key fitting, that will unwind the centres out then the panel drops down. Failing the Allen key use a self tap screw turn in with your fingers so it grips and pull. Job done.

Best tools to drop the roof lining is a t20/t25 screwdriver and a fork style trim tool. Failing that a kitchen fork will do
Use the torx to lever the screw part on an angle then get the tool/fork in behind and lever it out

ya they have so it can be threaded out thought they might have been there for looks not function. but i'm in two minds as to carpet this or just install the lights and leave it as it is.D4RK1 wrote:They do have a little Allen key fitting, that will unwind the centres out then the panel drops down. I was looking at something similar in Ikea. It had a mains plug, and a transformer. I don't know if you could cut this off and wire it into the 12v.
Take a pic when you get them fitted

had them running off a 10v power supply at work they look the business in fairness. so hopefully when they go in they'll do the job. it will probably be feb now before i get around to it. i want to sort the ply in the next two weeks then carpet and lights so dont worry there will be lots of photos along the way
