Yes, just shortening one end buddy and that should do it! Did think of getting it precision lazer cut and welded locally but wont risk it case of vibration. Hows your secret weapon progressing J? Cant wait for that to be revealed on the forum

Had a bit of a set back today as thought the Audi A3 prop was going to fit by removing the donut spacer but sadly it just wont work ... so off to Firow Prop shafts in Crewe Cheshire tomorrow to have the Passat prop shaft reduced to fit if they can do it while I wait! The saga continuesImage

@Stedlocks

Yep the 3 valve flap technique is a derivative of course of the 4 sprung duck technique! ImageImageImage ... i know ... crap joke lol

Getting there slowly!

Took my prop shaft to Firow prop shafts in Crewe, Cheshire who reduced my shaft by 75mm and balanced it while I waited. Took 2 hours but well worth the wait and what nice people! Highly recommended and so helpful. If anyone is as mad as me and contemplating a 4 motion conversion, these are the guys for your props! Ask for Mark or Andy, top guys and followed strict social distancing too

Anyway......that new exhaust looks the biz mate! Can’t wait to see what it looks like with the bumper back on. Looking forward to seeing this in the flesh again mate.

You have no idea how much I've been biting my (metaphorical keyboard) tongue about your shortened shaft! :lol:

So funny, but my son is now into the last four weeks of his police training course.......i know, he's brought shame on the family name....i come from a long lineage of crooks, thief's and ne'er do wells! :lol:

He is actually a borderline genius when it comes to puns......! I hate them, with a passion, but it seems my childish cock jokes have metamorphosed Into quite clever stuff! :lol:
