Headlight retrofit
Hi all,
Does anyone know off anywhere to get my headlights retrofitted from halogen to bi xenon. I’m in the northwest of England near Manchester
Thanks

Re: Headlight retrofit
I’ve converted mine buddy to genuine Touran bi xenon lights. Expensive but superb! Kufatec do a kit for this

Vanquish customs in Huddersfield do different types of headlight builds. They're on Instagram or they have a website.

You will pay quite a bit extra to have it done for you. It's not that hard a job, once you have all of the pieces. I've made a guide here:Barrington wrote: ↑Sun Dec 27, 2020 9:25 pmDoes anyone know off anywhere to get my headlights retrofitted from halogen to bi xenon. I believe the only place in UK you should consider getting it done by is Hazzy Daze, as they are able to make up the wiring loom.

Headlight retrofit
Totally agree with @anoneamus ... his link and guidance was invaluable to me when I fitted mine. The Kufatec instructions are not much good to be honest. These ate brilliant OEM lights though and highly recommended

Re: Headlight retrofit
Best lights ever! These are literally the pinnacle of lighting on the Caddy. The newer (Mk4, Mk5) lights are not as bright and don't 'steer' (lights follow steering to point on the road around bends). I'm not aware of any aftermarket lights that come anywhere close either. And they look cool.

Re: Headlight retrofit
I specced bi xenon lights on my mk4 from new, and they do come with the cornering function

Re: Headlight retrofit
AFAIK, they don't have the sensors etc. necessary for this. They have static cornering lights, which is something different to the "bend" function (where the projector actually moves with the steering). Also, they are also 25W compared to the 35W of the Mk3 lights. In any case, you can confirm/disprove this by seeing if there is a "bend" light function in the "assistance" menu on the MFD. This function falls under "AFS" (there is also "ALS" for auto level setting). Hazzy Daze page for these specifically mentions: "Please note: Auto leveling/AFS is not available from factory on this model."
