Do you bother with keeping the rolling diameters the same or just use GPS for a speedo?
I have and would advise it, using gps all the time seems like a pain
there lots of combinations for you to keep it the same so your alloy choice wont be limited

@Ade16 use
https://www.willtheyfit.com/ to see how alloys will sit compared to your existing set up, for 18 and a width of 8j people tend to like a et45 off set, anywhere around that I'm sure you'dbe safe(do double check though), I've got 7.5j and et51 on mine and only stick out an extra 5/6 if I remember correctly so to me its perfect
and for your search I'd go for anything under the vag group for what size you want and just see what offsets are. I ended up knowing what models have which offsets and all sorts by the time id finished

Only read as far as P20 and so far haven’t seen my rims in here. They’re genuine VW EOS/Passat ET47 7.5x18 Solitudes. Very similar to the 19” R32 rims but the spoke detail is slightly different.
Needs lowering now.
Mine were powder coated in Iodine colour(
) which is basically a metallic anthracite colour.

How do I figure out what wheels will fit?

@Carolthecaddy use
https://www.willtheyfit.com/ for defence with offsets and widths, centre bore is 57.1 and stud pattern is 5x112. I think the most favoured setup is 8j and around et 42 but theres lots of setups people have got on if you have a read through this thread you'll see. I've gone with 7.5j width and et 51 and think it's perfect
do you want aftermarket or vw group? If you go vw group most golf,touran,passat,leon,Octavia and the likes will go on

Does anyone have any examples of either Mk7 GTI clubsports or Mk6 GTI Edition 35's on a black caddy?

Custom banded steel wheels. You can chose pretty much any size you want 15-19"
