That certainly is some quality workmanship there, and it obviously helps having the correct tools and plenty of space, nonetheless it's a cracking job.
When you said converting to the latest facelift front end was more involved, would you care to elaborate on that with what parts are different from the old caddy front end and what made it more involved.
I'm looking at getting the parts together to convert mine and I want to be fully prepared with what needs doing.
Any advise gladly welcome.
Regards
Richard

i usually don't get an erection from a caddy, BUT THIS ONE HAVE GIVEN ME MORE THAN JUST ONE
it's really outstanding, i had a 08 Maxi 2,0tdi (that i REALLY MISS btw) and for now i drive a DISconnect 75hp(it's really a piece shit van ) and WILL get back in a caddy and wondering if you're making the gti-front end on demand

And here's a few to show that it does get used as a van. I did have to raise the ride hight for our two weeks in Cornwall but it still looks pretty cool and turned out to be a very useful vehicle.

This is the first topic I saw when browsing the site, and all I can say is boy o boy, excellent work!!! With the exchange rate so bad by us, R14 to £1, this type of conversion is going to cost an arm and a leg here by us

How are you getting on with the KW kit Matt?
Are you sure your Tarmacs are ET35? Put one on the rear of my van and the side door doesnt clear.
Waiting for the new spigots to fit all 4 wheels but worried they are going to stick out to much...

Yes mine are defo ET35. Its close to my door but mine just has the standard door panel trimmed.
Check that your rear beam is central as a few vans seem to stick out more one side than the other.
Once they are fitted, send me a pic from down the side so i can compare to mine. My fronts tuck a bit and my rears have just the right amount of poke.
My KW kit is a much nicer ride than the kit i had on my other caddy 3 years ago but i'm not happy with the lack of lows at the front.
My last set slammed the front right down and still had plenty of thread left to go lower.
I also need to contact them about the rear hangers as they now have an extra low setting on them but if you use it the hangers bang on the rear bumper crossmember.

Yeah my KW fronts dont go down no where near enough, i can still get 2 fingers between the rubber and wing and that is useless. Im gonna put the original hangers on the rear like yours to bring it down more as the lowest setting on the KW hangers is way to low, infact i dont think the rear wheels would turn.
The et35 rims fit good and as you say the fronts tuck and the rears poke, just need to black my tyres abit as they look fucked.
