CADDYIRL Build thread
well folks said id start a thread, i have alot planned it will take awhile but il keep posting into this as i go. the van is a 2014 trendline spec, with solid bulk head and 800kg payload. so here goes.

coated with autoglym Extra Gloss Protection (pity it was a dull day!! )

i have a nice set of 18"

but im saving them for when the weather and roads improve, il be plying out the back in the new few weeks, lighting, carpet, storage etc, transparent bumper protector and wind deflectors on route as are led number plate bulbs. german plates and a few other odds and ends. like i said it should take a while but il keep posting as i go.

I seen a 14 reg all red tdi last weekend, never seen that on a caddy before, I assume it was the 2.0L 140 brake?

Could very well be. The spec in the new vans is class really sets them apart from the rest.
Today I took out the roof skin and installed the led lights.
Il finish it off tomorrow and throw up a few more of it finished

Good idea with the lights, might do it with mine too.
Are you just wiring them back to the main light in the back? Are you using a relay or just straight onto the existing wiring?

il throw up photos later on when im back from work. im just running power from the main bulb to a switch then onto the lights in parallel. just hope it all goes in as easy as it came out!!itease wrote:Good idea with the lights, might do it with mine too.
