Looks like you may need to order a different one though for FL2 Caddy:

I got them to send it to me in SA. Was about 90EUR with the postage. I'd be surprised if you could find one here, apart from the (clear) one from VW (which would probably cost more than 90EUR anyway!).

Ok. Didn’t know about a clear one. You have that part number?

Btw. That part is 80euro and the shipping to SA is 51 Euro

Use this site to find part numbers (so I don't need to look them up for you):

https://volkswagen.7zap.com/en/za/caddy/cad/

This part can be found in the "accessories" section for the 2016 Caddy:

https://volkswagen.7zap.com/en/za/caddy ... 061-61070/

These kinds of parts usually have to be ordered from the factory in Germany (Zubehor), so you pay up front and then wait about 15 working days to get it. Most accessories I've ordered are like this, as they don't generally stock them in SA. Unfortunately there's usually no discount for "Zubehor" parts. If your local dealer has problems finding the parts, tell them they need to order them from Zubehor (German work for "accessories", but seems to be a separate parts division at VW).

Fitted Caddy 4 'Aero' mirrors. Had the caps sprayed silver to reference the 'Alltrack'.

Got Omtec Roof Cross Bars and extension for Thule Canyon basket. Was using VW OEM roof bars previously, but they added too much height to the basket. Now it sits (more or less) flush with the roof rails.

Looks wicked now.

Where did you get the mirrors? I have been looking for a set since I got my Caddy, but scrapyards up here never have, and VW wants three kidneys, two pancreases, and five corneas for a set.

Thanks! Yeah, there's pretty much zero chance of finding the mirrors in scrap here (or any Caddy parts at all for that matter!), so I bought them new (17% off) and sprayed the caps. The pre-sprayed (silver) caps are about R5.5K each, the primed ones are R900ish!

There's no electrical folding mirrors available in SA, nor black caps, so they must be on a very limited number of models. I wouldn't have gone for the folding ones anyway, too much work and money for something that would probably annoy me. :D
