Nice one Lea. It’s hooked up to a JL audio 12” sub in a bass wedge enclosure but I’ve ripped the head unit out again to do all the wiring so not really had a chance to test it out properly. Can’t drive it anywhere now as it’s all in bits :( My neighbours were probably sick of hearing it for the brief time I did have it running

Nice one, will sound awesome

I’m running a 10” Pioneer TS-Z10LS2
In a custom box shaped like the rear floor mat
I’m going to get another for the other side now and bridge them down at 1ohm

Got some audison mids and tweeters in too, sounds great

Be good to hear the 12” when it’s done mate

You using the remote gain stew ?

There’s nothing inside it, really easy to
Relocate it

Here’s mine

What did you do to your van today?

In hindsight I should have gone down the route of those boxes but I was planning to fit the amp under the back of the seat where I previously had my active sub, then fit the sub box in the back of the van. When the amp arrived it was much smaller than I was expecting and it fitted neatly in that recess under the front of the passenger seat leaving the space behind the seat free

Yeah I saw your mod on the gain controller, very neat mate. I have routed the wire in a position where I could do that in my switch panel below my air controller so I may well copy what you’ve done there.

Current state of play and looks like it’ll stay this way for a while as I’m now waiting for numerous parts to arrive until I can do much more.

Image

Today I relocated my sub bass gain controller to my switch panel as per r1lea’s tidy mod.

Image

Trimmed everything I could with what suede I had left in the loft from when I did my door cards and dash parts last year.

Image

Also did these side panels on the dash which I’ve been putting off for a year as they don’t come off (unless the dashboard is out) Not 100% perfect but I’m fairly happy with the outcome considering how much I was dreading it.

Cheers Chris. I looked into taking that dash part out but there’s no way you can get in there while it’s in the van so had to do it the same way you did.

Cheers Hef and Pat.

All the wiring is just a case of plugging stuff back in mate. Nothing too complicated there or I’d be lost myself

Doing one simple little job is leading me into doing another 10 jobs that I didn’t realise I wanted to do mate :) This complete interior strip down and retrim started off by getting a new stereo  Very frustrating now though sitting here waiting for parts to arrive :(
