My Blackberry Caddy

Smashed my front splitter in the week so thought I’d fix it today. I’ve done a full blow by blow account of how I did it in the “how to” section.

Also tried my new bumper on which I’ll be working on over winter just to check fitment while I had the old one off for repair.

It would but theres too much work involved mate. Bonnet would need welding up then re-painting, completely new grill making and a lot of cutting and welding to the bumper. If I had a garage to work in I’d consider it.

I’m liking the look of that Stu, it’s a shame to get rid of the R bumper

I tried a badge less grill and thought it didn’t look right so replaced it with a touran one but put my own little twist on it. Probably not to everyone’s taste but looks a 100% better

Why are you trying to make lots of extra work for me? I think Dan did this on his years ago when he had the Golf R20 bumper on it? I’d imagine just making the badgeless grill would be super fiddly and mega time consuming. I’m not doing it and that’s final

Great seeing the process for doing repairs the professional way. The new front bumper is going to look amazing. And do NOT try and build a debadged grill! Well, at least don’t try and do it the way I did it.

Can I ask you about the side skirts? You say they're Audi A5 ,I've done my measurements, and found them to be 50mm too long , did you shorten them? Cheers
