My Blackberry Caddy
Cheers.
It is an amazing colour and the first thing I get asked about when people see the van, “did you respray it yourself?”
The photographer was quite challenged by the colour. He said when I look at it with my eyes it’s one colour, then I look at it through my camera and it’s a completely different colour He said he’s never experienced that before. I told him through most of winter it looks black, brown or bronze, then in summer it can look purple or even almost scarlet in certain light.
Here’s a good example of the difference in colours you get from different light. Parked in the same car park with shots taken minutes apart.
Brown?
Black?
Burgundy?

Re: My Blackberry Caddy
What fantastic shots of your awesome caddy there buddy.
I do agree with everyone else it deserves to be in a magazine. The work you have put into making your caddy one of the best looking ones around and the time you have spent doing is a credit to you. The depth you have in your gloss is a show stopper.
Well done Stu

My Blackberry Caddy
Only opening/noticing this now Stu, not sure if it’s me and my dementing years in old age or what
You know my views on this van ... it’s simply stunning mate! It’s one of if not the best looking Caddy’s out there and has my vote always! Putting colour, which is clearly beautiful to one side for a moment ... 2 main things (apart from its beauty) stand out for me on this van ...
Firstly ... how you’ve managed to secure that wide stance by making maximum visual use of those fab convex 20” wheels whilst on air is genius!
Secondly .... how the hell you manage to basically use a show standard van as a daily workhorse is an enigma to me and many on this forum ... but more than that it’s such a credit to you and clearly a shop front for your meticulous attention to detail!
I think we can safely agree that this van deserves a front page top slot for all the reasons mentioned by members prior!
Well done indeed and I also cant wait to see the photos of this iconic van

Thanks Chris and Hef, kind words indeed, much appreciated. Just wish my van had the performance of your vans (Hef, Doc and soon Chris) One day maybe

Re: My Blackberry Caddy
As hef said , its a fantastic example of a show van being used daily.
Truly deserve a magazine print and hopefully it does. A credit to your hard work and dedication.
Can't wait to see it in the flesh one day and witness the colour changing van in real life.

Re: My Blackberry Caddy
Look forward to seeing these edited and in a magazine. But being with this van quite a bit you can see in the different lights it does change colour. Just even through the day... the morning it’s Blackburry and evening it looks black cherry. It’s a strange colour as @doc says the depth of shine I guess does this. So blackberry owners get you polishing machines out.

Re: My Blackberry Caddy
Lovely shots Stu, agree with all the fantastic comments, this van is outstanding, and the nicest one I’ve ever seen in the flesh. Fully deserves to be on the front of a magazine!
