Bit of an update on the new clocks...
Unfortunately cp kicked in couple of days ago disabling my radio and ACC.

Good day @stan-the-man, could you be so kind to answer, did you manage to fix this? Apologies for this question, I suppose you fixed it, and maybe there is an answer in another thread or in this one, which I didn't notice! Anyway, would like to do this mod, so looking for all the aspects of the job, which has to be done.

I went to VW at the end to get them to do it once I. restored the clocks to factory mode like they came and they had no issue coding them in then

I am just curious, did VW dealer made you pay again for the job, they didn't do right at the first place? Or maybe I didn't understand you correctly, did you fit the cluster initially at VW dealer?

No I have the equipment to do coding but at the time I wasn’t able to do the CP adaptation. First time I went to be just to see if they can remove the CP and pair up everything but they just couldn’t do it.

I reverted back to factory settings (new mode) and brought the van in again and they managed to code it in from scratch that way.
I only paid some beer money to the technician as I knew him.
Hope that makes sense.
