i cant take the credit for the bumper, dont have the patience for that sort of thing haha. But from what i see so far its going well. The wiring will be all me though as ill be retrofitting headlight washers, washer level sensor, front OPS and ACC.

Ass for the ride height, this will be fixed once i have calibrated the ACC, its easier to sort this on the stock height

Progress has moved quickly on your bumper, looks great so far, can't wait to see it finished.

That steering wheel isn't the version for adaptive (radar) cruise control, I'm 99% certain there's a wheel with a centre button on the left and also a mode button where you have CNL.
Still impressive and good to know that mk7 wheel works on the Caddy 4. I think it's only you and KenTDI who have had success with this wheel in a caddy.

The bumper was made by a guy called Kris Kozub who appears to have made quite a good job, will know more after a test fit.

Yes you are correct Doc I've yet to get vcds put for a play around and see if a record will enable the old cruise. That said all other functions appear to be working perfectly. No sweat if the buttons don't work ill get a set ordered up for when I fit the radar, glad to be rid of the horrible airbag from before its a nightmare to remove.

I'm afraid the ACC mk7 wheel won't work. Already tried. Also tried polo 6C with ACC and couldn't get it to work either

Great build! Some pretty clever mods going on.

Did the head unit come with the van from new? I've been thinking of upgrading mine for one of the larger OEM options but I've been reading all sorts of problems that can occur! :?
